The Yumbah Narrawong Classic 14km run from Fitzroy River to Surry River. Online registrations or register from 8.00-8.45am. Early bird online registrations $25. ($35 on the day.) Buses leave at 9.05 (sharp) to transport entrants to the mouth of the Fitzroy River (20 min ride) for commencement of the run at 10.00am. Entrants run 14kms back along the beach to the mouth of the Surry River at Narrawong. Belongings returned to the finishing area. Prizes sponsored by Yumbah Narrawong “Auntie Annie’s Run” – 7km out-and-back beach run from the Narrawong Recreation Reserve. On the day registrations $35 ($20 U16) “Surry Scurry” – 3km event – over the Surry River, around the river bend, onto the beach & back to the Recreation Reserve.
