      Walks are not timed – just have a fun walk and enjoy the beautiful environment!

      MOUTH2MOUTH RUNS

      ALL participants must show evidence of double vaccination (or exemption) to collect their race bib.

      Online registrations are encouraged.

      2022 Yumbah run results

      Registrations also available from 8.00am on 9/01/2022.

      People of all abilities are encouraged to participate.

      The Yumbah Narrawong Classic 14km run

      • Online registrations encouraged. Or register from 8.00am.

      • Entrants run 14kms, start and finish at the Narrawong Recreation Reserve with a run along the the beach.

      “Auntie Annie’s Run” – 7km out-and-back beach run from the Narrawong Recreation Reserve.

      • Online registrations encouraged. Or register from 8.00am for commencement of run at 10.00am
      • Registrations  $15 ($5 U16)

      “Surry Scurry” – 3km event – over the Surry River, around the river bend, onto the beach & back to the Recreation Reserve.

      • Register from 8.00-9.50am for commencement of run at 10.00am.
      • Registrations $10 ($5 U16)

      WE ALSO HAVE A FREE “KIDS LAP” AROUND THE OVAL FOR PRIMARY-AGED KIDS AT 12 NOON.

      Race bibs for those runners registered online can be collected on race day from 8.00am at Narrawong Recreation Reserve. Remember to have evidence of your vaccination status as bibs will not be provided for participants who do not meet the COVIDSafe requirements.

      M2M Race Director’s Briefing

      “Yumbah Narrawong Classic”…….approx 14km

      • The Race Director’s Role is to ensure the event is run safely, smoothly and fairly….and enjoyably.
      • Registration/collection of race bibs (after providing evidence of vaccination status) will be open from 8.00am on Narrawong Recreation Reserve. Close at 9.45am
      • The Mouth2Mouth 14km event will commence at 10.00am at the Narrawong Recreation Reserve. Depending on participant numbers,  start times may be staggered and then individual times adjusted.
      • Runners will go up the beach for 7km before returning along the same route. A short distance will be across the gravel road near the oval.
      •  Race number bibs must be pinned on the front and be clearly visible when crossing the finish line. Failure to do so will mean you will not receive a time or be eligible for prizes. Pins will be provided.
      • It is strongly recommended that footwear is worn.
      • There will be roving 4 wheeler motorbikes along the beach and marshalls at strategic points directing and keeping an eye on runners.
      • Distance markers will be placed at intervals along the beach.
      • Water stations will provide water bottles for runners. Please use bins provided for discarding water bottles.
      • Presentations will  follow the collation of results, at about midday. Finisher’s Certificates will be available to all participants in a downloadable form.
      • Showers at the Caravan Park (free of charge) will be available for runners after their event. We thank the Caravan Park operators for this offer.

      • The 7km event will commence soon after 10.00am.  on the Recreation Reserve. Runners will run 3.5km up the beach and back to the finish line on the oval.

      The “Surry Scurry”…3km

      • Welcome. The Race Director’s Role is to ensure the event is run safely, smoothly, fairly….and enjoyably.
      • Registration/collection of race bibs (after providing evidence of vaccination status) will be open from 8.00am on the Narrawong Recreation Reserve. Close at 9.45am
      • The Surry Scurry commences soon after 10.00am with a briefing at the start at 9.50am
      • Race number bibs must be pinned on the front and be clearly visible when crossing the finish line. Failure to do so will mean you will not receive a time or be eligible for prizes. Pins will be provided.
      • Footwear must be worn. Beware of snakes!
      • The 3km Surry Scurry commences on the oval/Recreation Reserve, goes behind the tennis courts, crosses the footbridge onto the Esplanade, crosses Clarke St, up Bridge St near the fire station, follows the footpath alongside the highway to Cambridge St, down Cambridge St and then along the Esplanade back to River Rd. Follow River Rd along the river to the track over the Dunes to the beach, back along the beach, over the bridge and then finish off around the oval. Maps will be available at the Registration point.
      • There will be marshalls and signage along the course to assist you. Roads will not be closed to traffic and runners must obey all road rules. Marshall’s directions must be followed to ensure the safety of all runners. Failure to do so risks disqualification.
      • Nearing the Surry River there will be marshalls to direct you.
      • Presentations will follow collation of category results.
      • Finisher’s Certificates will be available to all participants in a downloadable format.
      • Showers at the Caravan Park (free of charge) will be available for runners after their event. We thank the Caravan Park operators for this offer.

      Kid’s Gallop…around the oval…at noon

      • This is a free  non-competitive run for children of Primary School age and younger.
      • No entry fee, no prizes for winners…..just “run for the fun of it” and finish through the official finish line banner.
